Version 7.1.0 of VivoSocial has been released of our open source social networking modules. If you experienced any issues with the previous version, please update your modules to the 7.1.0 release and see if they persist. You can download the new releases from social.codeplex.com or our downloads page. If you have any questions about this release, please post them in our Support forums. If you are experiencing a bug or would like to request a new feature, please submit it to our issue tracker.

Bookmarks

• This module is now templated. Its look and feel can be customized.

Business Information

• This version fixes a bug where the module would throw an error upon submission if insurance information was enabled.

Groups

• Localization has been added.
• Group logos were displaying twice for Administrators in the "Latest" view.
• Maps were not displaying when a single quote was used in the group's name. A new token, [GROUPNAMERIPPED] has been added to format it correctly.

• Localization has been added.
• Fixed code for new Youtube system.
• Increased the character limit for media folder titles and descriptions.

Messaging

• Fixed the enable category setting so messages can be sent without using categories.

Profile Search

• Localization has been added.
• Fixed issue where users could be added as a friend even if they were already  friend. Changed token from CANADDASFRIEND to ISNOTFRIEND.
• Search strings containing an ampersand were not searching for any of the data entered after the ampersand.

Seamus

• Fixed issue where spaces were being parsed out of file names.

Search Directory

• Localization has been added.
• Fixed issue with audio player not working on child portals.

Web Controls

• Licensing has been added for the Enterprise version.
• Created new skin object for using a "custom" registration page. This was necessary due to a breaking change in DNN 5.3. Details are in the Web Controls manual.

Web Services

• Added new messaging methods to handle chat implementation.
